We’re Diederik, Carlijn, Tuur & Moon, and we’re so happy to welcome you into our little world.

The first time we set foot on this land, something shifted.
Our shoulders dropped, our breath softened, and the noise of daily life simply… fell away.
It felt like coming home — instantly.
A quiet oasis where nature slows you down and makes space for clarity, calm, and connection.
It’s a feeling we knew we wanted to share.

As you wander across DRIFT, you’ll find small traces of us everywhere — pieces of who we are woven gently into the land.

Diederik, former woodworker and co-owner of EXOBOX (tiny house makers), is happiest building spaces that feel good. He loves tracking animal footprints, making a cozy fire, and crafting with his hands. He’s the one turning ideas into real, warm places. Always ready to build, fix, or improve anything that helps the land (and your stay) feel safe, comfortable, and welcoming.

Carlijn, a communication and event manager with a photography background and herbalist training, loves creating environments where people can slow down, feel at ease, and simply be themselves. She brings gentle beauty to the land — flowers, plants, small details — and prepares a custom herbal tea blend for your arrival. Quiet, thoughtful touches that make the land an its visitors feel truly cared for.

Tuur, our social butterfly, helped shape the Nest — the shared spot where people can meet, play a game, or simply sit together. He believes in connection and wanted a place for it to happen naturally.

Moon, wild at heart, lives to be outdoors. The swing, the little play corner, the treasures of nature she gathers — they’re all part of her world, generously shared with anyone who wants to see through her eyes.
