The land
Two hectares of quiet in the Avesnois Natural Park, just across the Belgian border in northern France.
A pond. A wetland. A forest edge.
And the kind of stillness that's becoming harder to find.
We didn't plan to end up here. We just followed a pull we couldn't quite explain — and the moment we stepped onto this land, something in us exhaled. It's been changing the way we live and think ever since.
This is where DRIFT began.
And where everything we do comes back to.

Compost Toilet
Our compost toilet uses a sawdust system, collecting and composting waste safely to protect the land and save water.

The Nest
The Nest is our warm communal place with a wood stove, a large table for shared moments, a cozy sitting area, a small kitchenette with a two-burner stove, kettle, fridge, and a selection of games and books.

Private Fire Pit & Picnic Area
The private campspot comes with a fire pit and picnic bench — a cozy corner to gather and unwind.

Next to the communal space, a small natural play area invites active kids to climb, swing, and explore.
